Friendship Is Merciless

If you have real friends, you've been the butt of a joke. It's actually one of the best tests out there. Think about your group, are they constantly emotionally supportive and always pleasant and kind? They don't really like you. Let's be honest, the people that love you, the people that really care, will always give you shit. I think it's because they want to arm you against the slings and arrows of the world. You can't be sheltered and mothered all of your life. Bad things are going to happen. People are going to ridicule you because of insecurities and jealousies and a slew of other reasons. Your true friends will help you slowly build an immunity. It's okay to be the butt of the joke. It's okay to be laughed at. At the end of the day, they still love you and they are trying to let you know that they will always be there for you. Enjoy the joke and make a few of your own. Cheers.
